Tasmanian Chocolate

This is our first year to experiment growing tomatoes in containers, but we’ll grow anything dark-fleshed or otherwise unusual. It seems such a shame to put a tomato in a pot with so much garden space, but we’ve been impressed so far. We’ll keep you updated.

I planted some of the dwarf variety this season from some old seeds. At least another 6 weeks of growing season left in Ohio and some surprising not knowing exactly why called dwarf plants beyond their really working to get at 4′ tall so far. Could have called it determite growing that gives off some nice looking medium/small tomatoes. The plant is shorter, but tomatoes are rivaling this season’s Black Krims.
