This is getting ridiculous!
Our kitchen has become a very crowded nursery for our plantlings. We managed to miss our planting window on Mother’s Day and heavy rains have prevented us from getting out and digging in the ground. So we are left shuttling our tomatoes and peppers between porch and kitchen during breaks in the clouds so they can get a little sun.
FYI…if you lay that SRM film down today, it will keep the ground from getting any soggier with all this rain we’re expecting the next two days. I covered a patch of ground with it earlier this week and planted 9 tomato plants last night in bone dry soil.
Thanks, James! We missed our window with getting the SRM film down on one plot, but our other one is covered. We’ll get these plants in the ground soon. Can’t wait!
